Microsoft Office Level I

Get a good grasp on the basic features and functions in Microsoft Office. In
Word produce correspondence, reports, mail merge, envelopes and labels. Work
with Excel's worksheets, tabs and basic formulas and functions. With Access
develop and manage a basic database, modify table structure, set field
properties, validate rules. Create a basic presentation with outlines, diagrams and
charts using PowerPoint. Course emphasizes business procedures. Bring USB drive
to class. Certificate awarded.

Prerequisite: Must be familiar with a computer.

Enhance your skills, delve into the intermediate features and function of Microsoft
Office 2007. In Word work with tables, columns, WordArt, templates and the Style
features. Using Excel to manage Worksheets, sort data, multiple worksheets, templates,
cells and ranges names. Create with Access, rational database, forms, set query criteria,
format layout. Perform calculations. With PowerPoint enhance presentation, navigation,
add multimedia, customize themes and use the action buttons. Bring USB drive to class.

Transition From Microsoft Office 2003 to 2007

Now using 2003 and need to update quickly to 2007? Grasp the new
features in MS Office 2007 Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access. Explore
ribbon interface. Find where to find functions. Add building blocks and
compare reviewed documents. Enhance Excel 2007 spreadsheets:
organize data, apply conditional formatting and formulas. Create dynamic
presentations with PiowerPoint 2007. Work with Access to create better
tables, forms, queries and report generation.

Prerequisite: Currently very experienced with Microsoft Office 2003.
