A must class for everyone in the medical office
who will touch the medical
records. The government is requesting that all medical providers digitize
all their patient medical records. You have heard it on TV, seen it in the
newspapers, some medical organizations have already complied. This class
prepares students to understand and use electronic records in a medical
practice. Class is designed to train students in the use of an Electronic
Health
Records (EHR) systems, to document patient exams, diagnosis, orders, etc.
using EHR software to do eletronic coding from medical records. Apply
security features and safeguards. Certificate awarded.
Prerequisite: Working knowledge of computer. Working experience in a
Medical Office or a Medical Office/Biller course.
Bring USB/flash drive to class.
