Medical Terminology

This basic course introduces the terms used in various medical specialties. You’ll grasp the vocabulary related to systems of the human body, diseases, pharmacy and laboratory, and know the important abbreviations.

Pharmacology

Grasp the names and uses for major medicines. Full range of Pharmacology concepts based
on vocabulary a technician needs to know. Overview of the kinds of drugs used for various
diseases relating to different body systems. Learn name of drugs and prevalent usage.
Discover drugs' use for nervious, muscular and sensor systems. Drug therapy for the
cardiovascular, respiratory, digestive, endocrine and genitourinary systems.

If taken concurrently with Pharmacy Technician this class must be completed before
Pharmacy Tech class finishes.
