Discover what the certification process is all about.  Go over important principles you
need to know to pass the exam.  Review calculations, Law, code of ethics HIPPA,
Comprehensive drug abuse, Prevention, Control Act of 1970.  Dealing with patient
profiles and changes, reactions and interaction, policies, procedures and quality
systems.  Look at ordering systems, processing and maintenance of medicines.
Review the Poison Prevention Packaging Act and the Controlled Substances Act.
Important standards used in assisting the pharmacist in serving customers.  
PREREQUISITE:  Computer skills and Pharmacy Technician course or at least two 
years experience working as a Pharmacy Technician.
(Sample exams are online.  One is included with your class.  You can take more for
a fee to the Pharmacy Tech site using your home computer.)
